SAFE CONDUCT

Safe conduct is the travel document that is exclusively extended to Honduran and Honduran citizens who are abroad without their passport, requested by immigration authorities or by the same Honduran who has his passport expired and owes due to emergency and / or special cases duly verified traveling to Honduras.

It is valid only to enter Honduras, it expires thirty days from the date of issue.

NOTE: THE SAFEGUARD IS NOT USED TO ENTER CANADA OR ANOTHER COUNTRY.

 

Requirements:

1. Fill out the Safe-conduct request form (sign and fingerprint).

Please read the instructions carefully and keep in mind that the form must be filled out legibly, without smudging, and provide all the requested information.

2. Present original identity card or birth certificate (if you do not have any identity document, you must undergo an interview, in person or by phone, with the consular agent, in order to verify your nationality)

3. Two 2 ”X2” passport size photographs

4. Money Order in the name of the Consulate of Honduras for a value of $ 10.00 US dollars (except those requested by CBSA that are issued "free of charge")

5. For the safe-conduct requested through the Canadian Immigration Offices, they must also send a prepaid envelope by certified mail with the name of the Immigration Officer responsible for receiving the Safe-conduct, to take a fingerprint.

6. You must present a travel itinerary and provide the name and person in charge of the non-profit entity that will be responsible for witnessing the fingerprint and signature.
